At its core, the National Deer Association (NDA) was founded in 1988 as a group whose primary goal was to conserve the most-hunted and therefore most ecologically- and economically-important game animal in North America – deer. Since, NDA has and continues to lead the deer conservation realm through the promotion of sound deer and habitat management, as well as enlisting an army of ethical, informed hunters which pursue them.
Below are links to various aspects of NDA’s Conservation department. We hope you enjoy the information provided here, and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us.

Deer Steward
The world’s foremost personal training on deer biology and land management, Deer Steward teaches participants how to manage the land they own and/or hunt like a professional.

QDM Cooperatives
The hottest thing in QDM. When neighbors work together via Cooperatives, they achieve goals much easier and faster than doing so alone.

Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) Resource Center
CWD is the largest issue impacting whitetails today. All deer hunters should know how this terrible disease impacts them and how to prevent it from spreading any further.

Land Certification
Need advice on how to manage your land for deer? The LCP allows you to maintain your membership and delivers site-specific advice from an expert who’s been vetted by the NDA.
