Join the Coulee Country NDA Branch and the Wisconsin Deer Management Assistance Program on property tour and habitat workshop! This event will feature Dr. Craig Harper!

Take a step back and think “big picture” about your deer hunting property. Gain new insights on how to improve the wildlife habitat and the deer hunting on your land. Hear from a nationally renowned and respected Wildlife Biologist and hunter Dr. Craig Harper. Dr. Harper has authored several books including Wildlife Food Plots and Early Successional Plants and authored over 200 peer-reviewed wildlife and habitat publications. Hear from landowner (host property), NDA member & DMAP member, Curt Jacob on his journey to improve the habitat on his property and his lessons learned. Tour the property with fellow hunters and habitat managers.

Where:  Curt Jacob’s Royal Oaks Farm, 19394 Edgewood, Tomah WI

When:  June 5th, starting at 8:30 am

Cost:   Free for NDA or DMAP members, seating is limited, pre-registration is required.

Schedule of Events:

8:30 – Coffee and Sign In

9:15 – Curt Jacob describes the property and his journey in creating habitat.

10:00 – Dr. Craig Harper presents “Considerations in setting up your deer hunting property”

11:00 – Property Tour A

12:15 – Lunch will be provided. Bring a lawn chair for the presentations.

1:00 – Property Tour B

2:15 – Panel Q&A for Dr. Harper, Curt Jacob, and WDNR deer biologist Matt Esser. 3:30 – Informal Deer and Beer Discussion

4:00 – Optional NDA BBQ and with door prizes and raffle.  Cost $20 per person
